Hi peeps, it has been 2 weeks ever since my last post... I'm sorry for not posting as i am really occupied with many things. I have been very occupied with dance practices, project works, school work and more. I think this post would be longest post i am posting cos i am saying everything out at once. I do have many things to share(: Let's get started!

1. Annual Sports Day
It was held last Thursday, 12 march 09 at Clementi stadium... As usual, i had first aid duty but this time round at the First Aid Base. Fortunately, there was no major injuries at all(: Hmm. After everything, Artfest dance ppl went out to buy costumes n make-up... It was very tiring hunting for gold colour cloth! We got scolded from the uncle because he thinks tat we are wasting his time n he can't go out... wth. In the end, we managed to buy it from other stall at a lower price. Once everything was done, we rushed back to school to train till 5pm. Its has been tough on us!!!

2. Artfest
The whole artfest team including myself had trained very hard and shown our best on the audition day,itself. Since 4- 13 march, we have been training until late evening ard 6 plus. Despite having a long day studying and activities, we still continue to put in the effort to practice hard. I think we deserve a pat on our shoulders(: Good Job!

As for the dancers, its okay... We did our very best! Its just that other schools are better than us. We can always try harder the nxt yr(: I believed that we enjoyed ourselves very much throughout the process. The importance is not whether we win something or not but rather we learn something out of it during the process! Through this competition, i realised something. Everyone is able to do something well, it just depend on how much effort u put in. I maybe slow in learning but i won't lose to ppl who are more talented than me as long as i put in the effort to do it. Quote frm the bible-" Do your best and let God do the rest!"
I must thanks Juniors for encouraging me on and for the concern u have shown me on audition day. Special thanks to my yearmates for putting deep heat on my back that day! And of course, Baby for praying for my team & me. If not, i would have gave up performing that day...

3. Studies
Last Friday, 13 march 09, it was a bad day as we had an earful scolding from Mrs Rethinam for our results and Principal came into the class... That was the day where everyone gets their progress report card. I failed three subjects [Eng, Humanities & F&N]. I expected those three subjects to fail but i didn't expect the other 4 subjects that i passed to be so bad too. My Chinese was a borderline pass! I didn't manage to get a A1 for my mathematics.... OMG! I failed English damn badly again even though i put in so much effort... haiz. Its very dishearten to see such results, i could have done much better. I'm going to see a disappointed face on my parents when they see it.... Laurel & Jie are doing so well to make them proud yet wat am i doing? haiz. WAKE UP JULIET LIM!!! Its time for you to really study hard liao. Unless you wanna drop stream or retain at the eoy? I did a self-reflection for awhile on tat day. I thought of many things... For examples: What's my attitude towards studies?, What has been my priorities?, Have i been really studying very hard?, Is that wat u want? and What made me result in this situation?....
That period of time really woke me up! I noe the answer to all those questions in my heart... I decided to change! Definitely that is not wat i wan, I'm capable of more than tat. I have not been putting in really alot of effort therefore its time for a full blast. Must change the attitude that i have for studies to a better ones. And lastly, now my top priorities should be STUDIES n nothing else. It shouldn't be cca or bf or friends.... Therefore, i must change!!!! I'm going to tart chiong very hard when school reopens start! I have started on my mye revision. Jiayou Juliet Lim(:

4. IT show.
On Sunday, I went IT show wit my mom, Laurel, Isaac and mom's fren... We spent almost 5 hours at suntec convention hall. haha. We bought a laptop wit a free printer and a camera! Yay! Finally, we don have to borrow from other ppl if we need a camera or a laptop... haha. It was really cowarded wit ppl there. Its really tired too after walling for so many hours(:

5. Daddy's Birthday
Hmmm. Yesterday was daddy's birthday. We went to restaurant to celebrate his birthday for the first time! haha. It was a treat frm dad's fren, Uncle Ah Poh. We had a feast! And i really mean it.... Let me tell u wat we have for dinner,make sure don drool. haha. We had 7 dishes in total. 1. Lobster Cold plate. 2. Real shark fin soup. 3. Roasted pig. 4. Steamed fish. 5. Abalone! 6. Broccoli with prawn n mushroom. 7. Yam paste. Lastly, Chocolate cake bought by his 4 daughters(: The food was really nice and fresh! Had a wonderful dinner. It cost Uncle a bomb! haha.
